Liberation

  1. "For me Gender Liberation has reached a point where I've realised I don't need to make myself clear or explain myself to others with context what my gender or preferences are. According to me the most liberating act could be being proud of what you are not ashamed of what people assume you to be." -Barath Jayarajan

  2. As much as I agree with this statement, I would like to ask if you think the image is conveying what you have stated?

Seems to me like there is some sort of 'covering up' involved?

  3. What I understood by the image was something similar to what Neha wrote, hiding or covering up one self, not confronting.

  4. May be the image conveys how tired one can get from the constant interrogation and defending one has to do about the choice they make or the things they think and say. Part of figuring out who you are and how to relate to these ideas means at points there will be some insecurity. This is what I see coming out of this image.
